🎓 Engineering Roots & Entrepreneurial Drive
Terry Anderson grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After several years in industrial sales and management, Terry launched Omni Tech Corp in 1978—a company that evolved from selling industrial goods to building custom-designed computer systems for major global clients like GE X-Ray, eventually generating $185 million annually.

🏆 Business Excellence & National Recognition
Terry’s relentless innovation and leadership led to numerous accolades:

• Entrepreneur of the Year (1995) – Ernst & Young (Wisconsin)

• Small Businessman of the Year (1996) – U.S. Small Business Administration (2nd nationally)

• Personally honored with a private audience with President Bill Clinton

These honors reflect not only business growth but also a commitment to excellence and ethical leadership.

❤️ A Heart for the Underserved
Even at the height of his business success, Terry dedicated himself to helping others:

• Served on 14 nonprofit boards, including Habitat for Humanity

• Spent 20+ years mentoring young Black and White entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders

• Partnered with his wife Nancy Anderson, who played a vital role in all business and community efforts

Together, they brought hope, resources, and real change to inner-city communities, especially in Milwaukee.

🌍 Omnium Foundation & Global Impact
After selling Omni Tech in 2006 for $100 million, Terry and Nancy founded the Omnium Foundation—focused on lifting the poor through strategic, impactful initiatives locally and globally.

One of their key missions: a $2 eyeglasses program that provides basic vision care to those in need. To date, this low-cost, high-impact effort has restored vision for thousands, using durable glasses sourced from China.

🎯 The CNPO Mission
Through CNPO.net, Terry now focuses his passion on helping high school students discover their purpose before entering college or the workforce. Drawing on his deep business insight and compassion, he created CNPO to provide career testing, mentorship, and guidance to the next generation. Most college graduates major in courses that don’t lead to a successful career because they don’t know what they want to be when they graduate.  Our career guidance testing gives them a career path now that they will like and excel in, before they go to college or seek a non college job. This career path allows them to pick a career that will positively guide them for the rest of their lives.

Terry and Nancy have been married since 1962, and their legacy lives on through their two children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Their story is one of love, leadership, and lifelong service.
